Great product! Works exactly as describde, but please note that it's very large (good- easily handles almost any job and bad- takes up a lot of counter space)
Terrible Quality and Lack Lustre Customer ServiceReviewed by S. MCGURK, 2010-03-05
I had a Cuisinart food processor prior to purchasing the KitchenAid. I've read all the reviews over the years (Consumer Reports, Cook's Illustrated) claiming that this is, by far, the best option on the market so I decided to purchase one. I've been through three food drums and each has had the handle and locking mechanism crack. It leaks when you have anything more than two cups in the 14 cup drum and it can't seem to handle cheese grating with the disc insert. This is my second bad experience with KitchenAid (a terrible French door refrigerator was another bomb). And the Canadian customer service was, at best, indifferent. If their market reputation is their calling card, they are DEFINITELY on the decline. I won't buy any products from KitchenAid in the future.
Not Bad, Not Bad At AllReviewed by Heretic, 2010-03-04
Bought this product Sept. 3, 2009. And so far I've had no problems with it. It does what I wanted it to do. I recommend it.
Woo Hoo!Reviewed by J. Elam, 2010-02-23
After purchasing and using 3 different food processors in the past, I finally made the KitchenAid purchase from Amazon and find it works well with everything I've tried so far. The first thing I made was coleslaw. I was so fascinated with the perfect grating that I finished a whole head of cabbage(for two people) before I knew it! I have sliced potatoes and grated nuts for cakes and cookies and it does both equally well. I think you will be very pleased with this food processor in your kitchen.
